Wanamaker/Raphael is an architectural firm specializing in residential design located on the Blue Hill peninsula of Maine. Brooksville is a short distance from the towns of Blue Hill, Castine and Deer Isle/Stonington.

Our office offers a wide range of architectural design and related services. For our out of town clients, we are also available as owner’s representatives to assure design conformance, assist in cost control and monitor work progress during construction.

For every project, our goal is to design a house which best answers your needs in a creative, cost effective and site responsive manner. We also believe that the best final results are achieved through a close collaboration between owner, architect and builder. Our size allows this personal service.

Christopher Raphael, a licensed architect since 1972 and Peggy Wanamaker, a kitchen designer since 1977, moved their practice from Annapolis Maryland to Maine in 1995.
